It Ain’t about how hard you hit, but how hard you can take

Time and again in our lives each one of us have got hit by bad times. Sometimes by people , some times by situations. Most of us once hit by this are down. We start a blame game for our problems. But the fact is we are the owner of whatever we are facing right.  How many of you have seen boxing. So what do you observe in it. Two opponents , only one of them can win . They keep hitting each other with mighty blows. They keep fighting till one of them goes down. Just like in the game of boxing we are fighting with a situation , that’s in front of us.

It will keep hitting us , but it is we who decide whether to go down or keep resisting. This actually reminds me of Rocky , the famous Sylvester Stallone movie , If you carefully watch this movie , Rocky goes through loads of trouble in his life, but the only thing that keeps him alive is moving forward , be it a boxing match or life.

Not many of us actually know about Stallone. But Before Rocky was made,Stallone was a broke and when i say broke a complete broke. His wife left him and he used to sleep on the streets of New York with his dog. A time came when we did not have enough money to even feed his dog. So he sold him , so that at least someone takes care of his dog and he stays alive. With just small amount of money left with him, he kept wondering on the streets of New York , after seeing a poster of a boxing match , he decided to watch the same. After he saw that boxing match he got inspired so much that he decided to write a script. He sat down and started writing. Within 20 hours, the script of the first rocky movie was ready. He went to one of the studios to sell the script for the movie. The studio offered him $350000 which was not enough for him and he refused it.

After much of insistence the studio offered him the money he wants. And that’s it the rest is history, We all know where he is now. Famous , rich and successful. Stallone never went down because of the mighty blows that life gave him , but he kept moving forward.  Once Rocky was a blockbuster , he brought back his dog from the person whom he sold it to.

And you know what this is said in one of his movies.

“It Ain’t about how hard you hit ; but its all about how hard you get hit and keep moving forward. It’s how much you can take. That’s how winning is done.”

So all i say here is keep moving forward.
